Jay Inslee’s “It Gets Better” Video

Happy Coming Out Day! In celebration of this fabulous day, gubernatorial candidate Jay Inslee has uploaded his own “It Gets Better” Video! Check it out, and then check out other It Gets Better videos here.

Since Dan Savage and his husband started the It Gets Better Project in 2010, the site has received over 30,000 entries and 40 million views. This project was founded in response to the frighteningly high suicide rates among teens bullied by their peers because they were thought to be gay. People can upload their own videos both about their own stories of being gender non-conforming or in allies showing support.
